ABSOLUTELY LETHAL!!! This bridge will provide sound performance to the max, guaranteed! With the looks of a "WILD CAT", each bridge is handcrafted by Kelly Emerson, son of Bluegrass "Hall Of Famer", Bill Emerson. This 5-string banjo bridge (also available for tenor, plectrum, banjo/mandolins and six (6) string banjos), now also available for resophonic (dobro) guitars is made of solid rock hard cherry wood. It is nicely stained with a golden oak color which really enhances the appearance of the cherry wood. Personally, I'm a banjo fanatic who's working on banjos day in and day out trying to acheive that perfect set-up regarding playability, tone, sustain and most of all, VOLUME. All banjo players know that the bridge plays an extremely vital role in the banjo's performance. The thought behind this bridge was to make it of extremely hard wood so that it would produce volume and a great tone. The first banjo I tried it on was my Stelling Staghorn. The volume increase blew me away!I swear that was the loudest that banjo had ever sounded. Besides the volume, it had this wonderful full bodied, punchy clear tone and the sustain was great as well. It was the kind of sustain that actually helps you play better and whatever you're playing easier to play. This bridge really works! It comes available in 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", .656", 11/16" and 3/4" heights. Custom heights and arched radius styles are available upon request. The per unit cost is $17.00. THIS BRIDGE CAN BE PURCHASED WITH A CREDIT CARD ON PAGE FIVE (5) OF THIS SITE. I am now offering dobro bridge blank inserts which I cut from the same rock hard cherry wood. Not only do they increase volume, you'll notice a crisper tone with a great mid-range boost which seems just perfect.
This is the Cherry Emerson Power Dobro Insert. It is also available in the Holly/ with Ebony Cap Version which also produces a high quality tone.
TESTIMONIALS

1.) Hi Kelly
Thanks I received it and immediately installed it without even changing the strings and WOW did i notice a difference in sound and raising the bridge that little bit took away the little bit of string contact I was getting.
The best part was when my wife who is not a big banjo fan came in to the shop to see if I had bought a new banjo.
Thanks
John Taylor

2.) Kelly, I own a Gibson RB-3. Last weekend I received your bridge. This bridge is fabulous in every way. My RB-3 rings with more sustain, it's crisp and clear with lots of treble but no loss of bass. I'm finding it hard to put my banjo down! I would not change this bridge in any way. I will order more of the same in the future. Thanks so much. Sincerely, Gordon Severson.

3.) Hi Kelley, The banjo bridge came today. I just put it on. I am just learning the banjo and have an Alvarez 4285 with tone ring etc. It is a pretty decent for beginning however I have done some extensive reading and adjusting on this banjo and had it sounding pretty good .I put your bridge on it and started tuning it and the tuner acted different and finally settled down. It is amazing what a difference a small piece of wood can make, the sustain is unbelieveable. I will still have to tinker with setting the tailpiece etc. but I just can't believe the volume increase already. Thanks Kelley I know a lot of work went into this project. Best of luck in your adventures, Lee Caudill, Madisonville, Ky
